WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER

The event will take place in any weather condition unless stated by the organisers via email, on the website and/or on social media channels.   If the organisers can’t assure the safety of the participants due to weather conditions then the event will be cancelled.

WHY FRUITS FOR THE REFRESHMENT?

From the very first event in Modena in 2009 we decided to offer fresh fruit to promote the consumption of at least five portions of fruit or vegetables every day as per the World Health Organization guidelines.   Each fruit is a fantastic supplement of vitamins, mineral salts, fibre, and sugar. Eating fruit from breakfast encourages our wellness and it helps defend us from the development of many diseases. So fruits for everyone!

WHAT’S THE FRUITS PORTION?

The single portion offered at our events is 150g; we advise to eat 150g of fruits twice a day. On the Run 5.30 event day, we’ll eat the first portion together.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE LEFTOVER FRUITS?

Every event we organise we order more fruits than its needed to satisfy all participants and all the leftovers are donated to local food banks.

WHY IS WATER AND TEA SERVED IN GLASSES?

Where possible we try to minimise the impact of every Run 5.30 event with the local environment. Since the very beginning, we decided against the use of any loud sound systems, marketing and advertising banners as well as inflatable arches because we respect the environment and the city centre.   The water and tea are served in disposable PLA biodegradable glasses made from corn starch resin. You can have as many refill as you like : )
