5.30 Brighton – The Exclusive Course

Hello everyone,

Today we’ll share some insights into the exclusive 5.30 Brighton event course that will see participants run/walk past some of the most iconic places in town.

5.30 Brighton starts and finishes in front of one of the oldest and most distinguished theatres in the country, Brighton’s Theatre Royal, which is located at the heart of the city’s cultural quarter, hence the heart shaped route!

Participants then weave through The Lanes & the city’s historic quarter, where one will discover a fabulous array of unique shops, restaurants, bars & alleyways.

The route soon joins Brighton’s famous seafront, where you travel west past some of Brighton’s most iconic landmarks – the sailing boats, West Pier skeleton out at sea, the new i360 viewing tower, Brighton’s Birdcage Bandstand and the beautiful Hove Lawns where the route makes it turn back towards Brighton Pier.

Just before reaching the pier, which dates back to 1899, you will turn inland for the final half a mile. We couldn’t create the perfect route without taking participants past the most famous landmark of all, the Brighton Pavilion. This former Royal residence was built in 1787 for the Prince of Wales and the 5.30 event is the first ever event of this kind to be allowed to travel through the Pavilion Gardens. What a fabulous way to finish your 5.3km.
